Creating a Ticket & Basic Ticket Type Settings

Creating a Ticket Type

There are two places where you can create ticket types: during event creation and in the ticket types list.

Creating Ticket Types During Event Creation

When creating a new event, you will be guided through a setup wizard where you can enter basic event info, additional details, date & location, and then ticket types. You can always add additional ticket types and edit their advanced settings after your event is created.

  • Ticket Name: General Admission, VIP, etc
  • Ticket Price: Cost per ticket
  • Ticket Quantity: The amount of that specific kind of ticket available for the event
  • Description: Click the description button to enter any additional details you'd like your attendees to know about that specific ticket type
  • + Add Ticket: Click this button to add an additional ticket type to your event

There are more options and ticket settings which can be added after this initial step. Ticket types can include passes, RSVPs, Reservations, Offers, Entry, Registration, Sessions, and more (learn how to change the name "Ticket" to another product name).

Adding New Ticket Types & Editing Existing Ticket Types

After you've created an event, you can edit existing ticket types, create new ticket types, and add even more features to your ticket types through the "Edit Tickets & Merch" section from your left event navigation options.  Edit Tickets & Merch > Ticket Types > Create a Ticket Type

  • Create a Ticket Type: Click the "Create a Ticket Type" button from the "Ticket Types" menu item
  • Duplicate a Ticket Type: Click the + button on the ticket type you'd like to duplicate and the ticket type will be automatically duplicated
