Flexible Check-In for Timed Entry
Flexible Check-In is a timed entry feature that allows scanning tickets across multiple time slots on the same day without changing the time slot you're scanning for.
For example, let's say you're selling tours for different time slots from 9am-5pm but you don't mind if people show up at a different time than when they purchased tickets, as long as it's on the same day. With Flexible Check-In, you can scan in attendees registered to a different time slot for the same day without needing to constantly switch the app to begin scanning for a different time slot. Enabling Flexible Check-In
To enable Flexible Check-In, go to Edit Event > Schedule / Access Points and turn on Enable Flexible Check In (App).
*Note: Flexible Check-In is a timed entry only feature. This setting will only appear if your event is set to timed entry.
How Flexible Check-In Works
Normally when you scan in a ticket through the app, the time slot you're scanning for must match the time slot the ticket is registered to. Flexible Check-In makes this requirement less strict, and allows you to scan in tickets as long as the time slot the ticket is registered for and the time slot being scanned for belong to the same access point and are on the same day. The key difference is that with Flexible Check-In enabled, tickets can be scanned in for a different time than the time slot they were purchase to.
Example:
With flexible check-in enabled, a ticket registered to the 5 PM time slot can be checked in while scanning for the 6 PM time slot. A successful scan via Flexible Check-In will scan yellow:
If flexible check-in was not enabled, the ticket could not be scanned in for this time slot:

Flexible Check-In Restrictions
Flexible Check-In is only available on timed entry events and is not compatible with standard shopping cart events. Additionally, Flexible Check-In is not compatible with multi ticket check-in. If both Flexible Check-In and multi ticket check-in are enabled, only flexible check-in will be available in the app.
