Custom Delivery Options: Mail & Willcall

By default, all PDF and mobile tickets are sent via email. If you need to offer mail delivery or will call pick up, use alternative delivery options in Ticket Settings.


Enabling Alternative Delivery Options

In Ticket Settings, scroll to the bottom and enable Display Ticket Delivery Options. Enable this setting only if you want to offer delivery options other than email. 

  • Ticket Delivery Option: Choose the default option for how tickets will be delivered when customers place their order on the ticketing page. 
  • Ticket Delivery Option (Point of Sale): Choose the default option for how tickets will be delivered when orders are placed through the web box office. 
  • Display Delivery Methods: Choose which delivery options you want to offer for web and box office orders. Once you select email, mail, or will call, you can change the title and description of each option. 
  • Delivery Option Verbiage: Set the title and description for each delivery method visible when placing an order.
    • Tip: Include {tickets} in your description to include the correct product name (ie RSVP or registration)


Charging a Fee for Alternative Delivery Options

It's common to charge an additional fee associated with alternative delivery options (ie shipping & handling). 

  1. To create a fee associated with a delivery method, go to Edit Tickets & Merch > Ticket Fees from the left navigation menu. 
  2. Under the Line Item Fees section, click the Add a Line Item Fee button.
    1. Don't see this option? Contact your support representative for assistance. 
  3.  Under Line Item Fee Type, select ORDER. Delivery fees can only apply to the entire order, not per ticket.
  4. Under Delivery Method Dependent, select which delivery method should charge this fee. 

5. To help communicate the price of the delivery method to customers, add the price of the delivery option to either the delivery method name or the description in Ticket Settings.
