Managing & Inviting Promoters to your Organization
If you're an organization admin, you can invite promoters to manage all events for your organization.
- Head to Manage Organizations from the top navigation menu and select your organization.
- From the left organization menu, select Organization Promoters. This page will list any promoters for your organization whether they manage all events or individually assigned events
- To invite a promoter to promoter all your events, enter their email address in the Add a Promoter field.
- An invitation will be sent to the promoter to sign up for an account to start promoting events.
- You can view pending or declined invitations at any time. If needed, you can cancel or resend an invite.
- To remove a promoter from your organization, click the icon in the Remove column. Promoters removed from an organization will be removed from all events for that organization.
Managing & Inviting Promoters on Individual Events
If you only want to invite promoters to specific events and not all events for your organization, head to the event you want them to promote.
- From the left navigation menu, select Marketing & Promotion and then Promoters
- All of your organization and event specific promoters will be listed on this page
- To add a promoter to an individual event, use the Add a Promoter field to send them an invite to promote this event
- To remove a promoter from an individual event, click the icon in the Remove column. Promoters removed from an event will no longer have access to that event.
Promoter Dashboards & Reporting
Overall Performance
From either the organization or event promoters list, click View Dashboard to view all events that promoter is promoting along with their current sales.
- For each event the promoter is promoting, you'll see the number of tickets they've sold and the total sales they've generated.
- Sales reflect any purchase made after clicking on a promoter link and making a purchase in that session.
- Sales reflects any promo codes used but does not include refunds.
Event Specific Performance
To view the performance of each individual link, click View Sales.
- Clicks: Clicks are recorded once each time a link is clicked directly on an event based link
- Tickets Sold: The total number of tickets sold after clicking on a promoter affiliate link (excludes refunded tickets)
- Sales: The total sales generated from purchases from the affiliate link on the event
- Sales are displayed post-promo code (example: If the ticket total is $100 and a $20 off promo code was used, $80 would be attributed to the promoter affiliate link)
Customers
Each time someone purchases using a promoter affiliate link, you can view purchase information on the Customers tab for the event
Promoter Embeds & Links
Promoters can use a single promoter link for all their events or create individual event specific links. The overall promoter links are available on their promoter dashboard.
Promoter Links for All Events
- View My Event List: Shows a list of all the events the promoter is promoting. This link can be shared with others and sales made from these events will be attributed to the promoter.
- Shareable Link & Embeds: Promoters can quickly grab a shareable link that lists all events they're promoting in addition to code to embed on a website or blog.
- The promoter link is shown as [promoter name]-default throughout the platform and in reporting
Promoter Links for Specific Events
Sometimes its useful to create event-specific promoter tracking links for tracking different digital marketing efforts (ie unique links for a newsletter vs. website).
- To create specific event promoter links, go to the Tracking Links tab on the event dashboard
- Click Create New Link and enter the name of your tracking link
- The link will automatically be created and now you can copy either a link to the event page or the tickets page
