Event Listing Page
The event listing page is an optional page that displays a list of all active events across the platform and acts as an event discovery tool.
Enabling the Event Listing Page
The event listing page is enabled in Platform Settings in the General Settings tab by turning on the setting Enable Event Listing Page (Front-End Site). If this page is disabled, users will instead see a login page.
Customizing the Event Listing Page
There are a few different ways to customize the event listing page:
- Accent Color: Set the access color of your event listing page by adding a hex color code to the White Label Event Listings Page Primary Color setting in Platform Settings under the Platform Branding tab. This changes the color of buttons and accent links on the page.
- Dark Theme: By default, the event listing page uses a light theme. If you'd like to change the event listing page to use a dark theme, turn on Dark Theme - Platform Nav Menu & Event Listing Page.
- Custom Background Image: To upload a custom background image, enter an image URL in the Platform Event Listing Page Background Image URL field in Platform Settings.
Event Listing Page Features
- Featured Events: You can feature events to display at the top of the event listing page with a large masthead image. To feature events, navigate to Event Settings>Publish & Privacy of the event you'd like to feature and turn on Featured Event.
- Event Filters & Search: Users can search for events by keyword or zip code, filter by date, category, or the host organization
- Event List: A list of active, upcoming events that are either public or discoverable.

How do I feature an event?
To feature an event, navigate to Event Settings>Publish & Privacy of the event you'd like to feature and turn on Featured Event.
How do I remove an event from the event list?
To remove an event from the event listing page, navigate to Event Settings>Publish & Privacy and change the Event Privacy to Hidden.
Why is my event not showing on the event list?
Only events that are Public or Discoverable are shown on the event listing page. Navigate to Event Settings>Publish & Privacy and make sure your Event Privacy is set to Public or Discoverable.
What determines the thumbnail image of each event?
The thumbnail uses the following order of operations to determine which image to use if they exist: Event Logo, Masthead Image or Background Image, Photo Gallery Image. If none of these images exist, then a placeholder image will display instead.
How can I show a multi-day event multiple times on my event listing page?
If an event is a week long, but you'd like to show it once per day the event takes place, navigate to Event Settings and click the More>Custom Display Settings tab and turn on the List this event by day on the calendar setting.
How long does it take for my changes to appear on the event listing page?
Changes can take up to 10 minutes to take effect.
Why is my dateless event showing at the top?
If an event does not have dates (usually ongoing or multi-day), then the event will display at the top of the list.
