App Printing

When placing on-site orders through the app, you can print tickets if the attendees are using them to check in later. The app supports printing tickets via several models of Star Micronics printers, as well as to conventional printers via AirPrint.

Printing with Star Micronics Printers

The app is compatible with the Bluetooth, LAN, and Wi-Fi models of the TSP 100III series receipt printers.

To connect to a Star Micronics printer:

  1. On the web platform, navigate to Event Settings > Box Office & Printing, and turn on "Enable Star Micronics Printing in Mobile App."
  2. Turn on the printer.
    1. If you are using a LAN or Wi-Fi printer, connect the printer to your network and make sure the device you are printing from is connected to the same network.
    2. If you are using a Bluetooth printer, open the "Settings" app on your device, select "Bluetooth," and connect to the printer (TSP100-xxxx).
  3. Open the event in the app and navigate to the "Box Office" tab. In the top right, select the printer icon and accept the prompts for allowing network and Bluetooth connectivity.

  1. Select the printer you'd like to connect to from the dropdown. If the printer is not found, turn the printer off, wait until all lights have turned off, and try again.

After connecting to the printer, tickets are automatically printed when an order is placed. If you need to reprint tickets for an order, look up that order in the "Attendees" tab and select "Print Tickets."

Note: You can only connect one device to each printer. If you are using multiple devices for box office printing, you will need multiple Star Micronics printers.

Printing with AirPrint

With AirPrint, you can print tickets from most Wi-Fi enabled printers. To enable AirPrint, in the web platform navigate to Event Settings > Box Office & Printing and turn on "Enable AirPrint from App".

With AirPrint enabled, after an order is placed the print menu is opened and you can select any printers available on the local network to print the tickets.
