Delay Sending Tickets
Ticket Delay Send allows event organizers to customize when attendees will receive their tickets. This feature is frequently used to prevent undesired resales by limiting the amount of time between when attendees receive their tickets and the event starts.
Delay Send Options
By default, tickets will be sent immediately after an order is placed. You can customize the ticket delay send options for your event in Edit Tickets & Merch > Ticket Settings. You can choose to send tickets a set number of days before your event starts or a set number of minutes after each order is placed.

Note: If the ticket delay would be within three hours of the event start time or later, the tickets will be sent immediately.
Box Office & Comp Orders
If delay send is enabled on your event, when placing a box office or comp order you can choose between delaying the ticket send or sending the tickets immediately.

Updates to Queued Orders
When an order is placed with delay send enabled, the ticket generation is queued for the specified date and time. If you make any updates to the order before the tickets have been sent like editing the order information or ticket types, those changes will be reflected when the attendee receives their tickets.
However, if you change the delay send settings after orders have been placed, the time at which the tickets are queued to be sent will not be updated. Therefore, it's strongly encouraged to determine your desired delay before sales start.
Note: If a ticket type is originally set to delay send, and then disabled, any orders already placed will still send at the originally set day/time. Any new orders placed after delay sending is disabled, will send out automatically with no delay.
