New Features

Ticket Type Groups

We’ve added the ability to put ticket types into groups for a more streamlined user experience on the tickets/checkout page. On the ticket type list on an event, organizers can create groups and drag and drop different ticket types into them. These groups are expandable/collapsable on the tickets page.

Alternatively, you can create groups to be “separators” between different ticket types by not adding tickets directly into a group.

Backend Ticket Groups

Frontend Ticket Groups

For simplicity, timed entry and activity pages will ignore ticket groups and display ticket types normally. The iFrames do not support ticket groups either and will simply list out the tickets. Ticket groups are supported on the sales modal.

*Note: This feature is currently in beta.

Delete Affiliate & Promoter Links

We’ve added the ability to delete unused affiliate and promoter links to better manage and organize tracking links on an event. Simply click the X next to the affiliate link you’d like to remove (as long as there have been no clicks or sales tracked for the link).

Delete Promoters

We’ve added the ability to delete and remove promoters from organizations and events. Removing a promoter from an organization will remove their access for all events for that organization. Removing a promoter directly from an event will remove their ability to promote and sell tickets for that event.

Platform Improvements

Free & Comp Order Cancellation Emails

For free and comped orders, we’ve added support to send order cancellation emails to the customer when an order is canceled. Previously, only paid orders received refund notification emails.

Default Social Links for Organizations

When editing an organization, we’ve added a new “Social Links” settings page to allow organizations to set default social links. All new events created will inherently adopt these social links to prevent organizers needing to fill them out on each individual event.

[Timed Entry] Sell Non-Timed Entry Tickets on Box Office

For Timed Entry events, we’ve added support for selling non-timed entry ticket types (like general parking tickets) on the backend box office and comped tickets area. This feature will be available on the iOS app soon.

[Timed Entry] Ticket Types Respect Min/Max Ticket Quantity Limits

For Timed Entry events, we’ve updated the individual ticket types to respect the minimum and maximum quantity allowed per ticket type. Previously, timed entry ticket types always had a minimum and maximum of 1/15.

[Timed Entry] Sell Tickets via Box Office When Registration Is Closed

For Timed Entry events, we’ve updated the box office functionality to allow tickets to be sold after their registration time closes the day before (i.e., registration closes at 5pm the night before the event). This allows organizers to continue to sell tickets the day of their event through the box office. This feature will also be available in the iOS app.

Bypass Ticket Send on Regular Comp Tickets

We’ve added a global option when issuing comped tickets to not send order confirmation and ticket emails to attendees. This feature was previously only available when issuing bulk complimentary tickets. Now, any comp order can bypass sending order emails.

Event Date Added to All Events Historical Dashboard Download

On the All Events Historical Dashboard, we’ve added the event date to the report download.

Bug Fixes

Tickets by Type Report Fix

We resolved a bug where the Tickets by Type report was treating all ticket types as a multi-ticket. We’ve corrected this issue so that only true multi-tickets are represented as such in this report.
