New Features
GA4 Support
We’ve added additional support for GA4 (Google Analytics 4) in the following places:
- Platform Settings: Adds ID and tracks on all events on entire platform
- Org Settings: Adds ID to all orgs events
- Event Settings: Adds ID to the specific event
Google is moving away from Universal Analytics in 2023 so we’re making steps towards the transition
*Note: Ecommerce tracking is currently only supported for Universal Analytics (UA) and not yet supported for GA4
Platform Improvements
Customize Calendar Header Title for Timed Entry & Shopping Cart
We’ve added the option to customize the calendar title for events using timed entry, shopping cart, or displaying events on the calendar.
To change the title, head to Edit Event > Schedule / Access Points > Activity / Access Point Event Settings > Calendar Title.
Badge Printing Additional Options
We’ve expanded our badge printing capabilities and now support choosing which fields to display on printed badges. Organizers can choose from Attendee Name, Ticket Type, Company (collected per order), and QR Code. Enable this in Event Settings > More > Box Office & Printing > Enable Badge Printing.
Update Default SMS Text Body Content
We’ve updated the body of the text message customers receive when they opt-in to text updates for events to be more generic to allow for more flexibility. The body of the message will now say "You’ve opted-in to text updates for [Event Name]”.
Bug Fixes
Access Code Issues on Event Duplication
We’ve resolved a bug where if you choose to not duplicate access codes when duplicating your event, the ticket types previously gated by the access code were locked and could not remove the access code. Events and tickets will be correctly duplicated now if access codes are not also duplicated.
Inactive Promo Codes on Event Duplication
We’ve resolved a bug where inactive promo codes were not duplicated if the event is duplicated. All promo codes regardless of status will now be duplicated upon event duplication.
