April 2022

New Features

Duplicate Event Improvements

We’ve improved the event duplication process so that you can pre-set your new event’s name, slug, date/time, and location to make event duplication more efficient.

Email Design Updates

Our system emails have a new look! You’ll notice a number of our emails transitioning to use a more standardized layout in the coming months starting with our Order Confirmation and Ticket Emails.

Prefill Access Code Support on the Sales Modal

We’ve added support for prefilling Access Codes on the Sales Modal such that unlocked tickets are automatically displayed to the customer when clicking the button that launches the modal. This can help segment tickets to the custom or allow customers to get special access to tickets from private landing pages without the customer needing to enter the access code themselves.

Limit # Tickets Per Order

We’ve added a setting to limit the total number of tickets that can be purchased per order. By setting a total amount, a customer will be alerted if they have added more than the allotted number of items to their cart and will be unable to checkout until they meet or fall below the limit. The limit affects the total number of tickets and merch selected and can be set in Ticket Settings.

*NOTE: Currently, a generic limit message will appear. It’s suggested to add the limit and messaging to the Ticket Information section. We will be adding additional customization in the coming months.

Promoters Added to Downloadable & Custom Reports

If an order was purchased using a promoter affiliate link, we’ve added an additional column in downloadable reports called “Order Promoter” that lists the promoter. This column is also available in custom reports.

Timed Entry Setup UX: Auto-hide Tickets from Checkout Page

We’ve improved the Timed Entry UX setup such that when a ticket type is set up to allow Selective Registration for a time slot, the ticket type will automatically be set to hide on the checkout page. This prevents an additional manual step to hide the ticket on the checkout page for the client.

Filter Multi-Event Reports by Org

When downloading multi-event reports, you can now filter the event list by organization.

Optimizations & Platform Improvements

RTE Spacing Optimization

We’ve audited and improved our RTE spacing for anywhere you enter your own content. We’ve removed excess spacing for all new RTE content. Previous content will not be altered or changed.

Promoter New Event Email Notification

Each time an event is published, promoters will receive an email if they’re added as a promoter for that event or the host organization. No action is required to enable this feature.

Subtotals Added to Downloaded Reports

To increase transparency in Order Reports, we’ve added the pre-fee subtotal to the All Order Report and All Ticket & All Order Details report. This field is also available in the custom report builder.

*NOTE: The order subtotal already includes Donations & Gratuity but excludes other incurred fees

Added Access Code Usage to Access Code Dashboard

We’ve improved our Access Code Dashboard to now demonstrate both the number of orders and number of tickets the code has been used to purchase. Previously, we only showed the total number of orders.

Google Search Optimizations

We’ve optimized Google’s structured data for Google Search to better discover events through their Events feature.

Show All Fees on PDF Tickets

When you choose to show Fees on PDF tickets, we are now displaying all fees on the PDF ticket including taxes and line item fees. Previously, only service fees and processing fees were shown.

Google Tag Manager Ecommerce Data: Post Promo Code / Filter by Org

To further improve our support for Google Tag Manager & Google Analytics Advanced Ecommerce Data, we now send the partner and organization ID of the event to further segment by organization as well as post-promo code ticket values to accurately record revenue.
